Ventilated façade

The ventilated façade is a particular type of building envelope. It is a façade wall whose exterior covering is made up of various nature surfaces (aluminium, composite panels and other materials) that allow for architectural effects of great importance.

The main function of the ventilated façades, as well as aesthetic, is to improve the thermal characteristics and so the energy saving of the building, protecting it from the atmospheric agents.

Thanks to the cavity that remains between the ventilated façade and the wall you get that chimney effect of which the building benefits, keeping the wall dry behind and refreshing the building from the summer heat.
